Professional Background

Experience in rental operations

Before establishing my coaching practice, I held operational leadership roles in multi-million-dollar equipment and event rental businesses. My responsibilities included labor planning, budgets, maintenance, fleet and inventory decisions, customer service, team development, and performance through both slow and peak seasons.

Working inside those organizations gave me direct insight into how ownership decisions are interpreted and executed throughout a company. That experience continues to shape my work: strategy must be clear, practical, and supported by appropriate systems and accountability.

My academic and professional training, combined with operating experience, informs a structured and practical approach to client work.

8% 45–50% operating profit, and it stayed there

Preventive maintenance became non-negotiable, damage started getting billed, low-margin assets were shed, and sales and maintenance stopped pointing fingers at each other.

Core Values

Company values

These values guide how I advise clients, communicate, make decisions, and approach professional responsibility.

01
Honor & Serve, Always

Lead with humility in honoring God first and seeking every opportunity to serve. Service shapes how we spend our time, attention, and resources. When we serve and honor well, we steward well.

02
Win the Mental Game

Clear the mental clutter. Own your outcomes. Discipline your thoughts before they derail you. Growth is a chosen mindset, not luck or for the youth.

03
Act Long-Term

Play chess, not checkers. Every decision is a seed planted for the future, so plant wisely. Action beats perfection, always. A rough plan executed well is worth more than a perfect plan collecting dust.

04
Speak Truth in Real Time

Feedback is fuel. Say what needs to be said, now, with empathy and courage. Silence erodes trust. Honest insight builds safety, trust, and growth.

05
Live With Grit

Fall. Rise. Repeat. Strength isn't avoiding failure, it's refusing to stay down. Meet challenges with courage, persistence, and ferocity. If you think you can't, you won't. If you know you can, nothing stops you.

The Rental Profit Blueprint

A system, not a stack of tactics

Pricing, inventory, team, cash, sales, marketing, and strategy aren't separate problems to solve one at a time. They're connected parts of the operating system your business runs on. I built the Rental Profit Blueprint to work through them in the order they actually matter, and we build your version of it together.

Built around your business. Never one size fits all.
If you already have pieces in place, we start where you are. We intentionally customize the work to find what's essential for your business, then do only what's critical.
PHASE 01
Establish
Build the owner and set the direction
Owner Focus

Time, role, and development so you run the business instead of being buried in it.

Strategy (Foundation)

A plan on a page that defines where you're going and gets everyone rowing together.

PHASE 02
Stabilize
Secure the cash and the team
Profit (Managed)

Cash flow, reserves, forecasting, and reporting. Know your numbers so you can improve them.

People

Values-based hiring, onboarding, and development. Great teams build great businesses.

PHASE 03
Optimize
Grow margin and systemize the work
Profit (Created)

Ideal customers, sales, and retention that raise lifetime value and lower acquisition cost.

Process

Lean and agile methods, SOPs, KPIs, and meeting rhythms that fight entropy.

PHASE 04
Scale
Expand with leverage
Strategy (Advanced)

New markets, locations, products, and services, plus acquisitions, mergers, and exit options.

Where the climb pays off
The Method

Every module runs on the same three steps

Learning without doing is wasted, and doing without reviewing slowly unravels. Every module moves through the same three steps so the change actually holds.

E
Educate

Learn enough to lead it, hold it accountable, and talk shop with the expert. Not to become the expert.

I
Implement

The crossroads of knowing and doing. Execution steps, tools, and resources to put it to work.

R
Review

A review rhythm that keeps entropy from quietly undoing the work. Not glamorous, but it gets the job done.

Then back to the top, every cycle
